Pardon the Interruption...

but I love this show. I remember when it first aired years ago and I enjoyed it even then, although I didn't like it as much as I do now. Kornheiser is awesome, the show never seems to be as good when he's not on. I'd love to listen to his radio show; I bet it would be really entertaining. I looked up his radio show on wikipedia and discovered some interesting things. One of his "rules" is that callers do not ask him how he's doing when they are put on the air... it reminds me of how Jim Rome doesn't allow callers to introduce themselves after Rome just previously did. Speaking of Rome, apparently the two have a bit of a feud, or used to have one. Before the turn of the century, Kornheiser's show was moved to a midmorning/early afternoon time slot in I think DC. This reduced Rome's show down to two hours there, which infuriated Rome (who doesn't appreciate it when radio stations don't carry all three hours). He voiced his displeasure loud and clear, to which Kornheiser responded by having a "Snackdown" (a parody of Rome's Smackdown). He also mocked Rome by impersonating some of Rome's phrases. I don't know if they ever became "cool" with each other but I found that interesting.

Anyway, back to PTI. I found some videos on youtube and thought I'd post them:

This was painful for me to watch. Now I'll admit, not many things on tv or in movies make me wince but that girl falling flat on the ice like that was almost too much for me. Tony's reaction was great though. OHH!!!! OHH!!

This has to be by far the worst Odds Makers ever!! LeBetard and Adande do a terrible job here... its so bad its funny. I loved Adande's comment at the end about his win in Odds Makers that he wanted it added to his win total on Around the Horn.

almost anything with Joe Buck is going to be funny, and this definitely was. I remember watching this last fall and it was hilarious.

And finally, what would we do without a BAM! video from LeBetard?
